Back to normal stuff. Ruby's best friend's mom texted me this picture. Sadie wrote (in answer of "who has showed kindness to you? how?): Ruby. She has cared for me when I'm sad.
So sweet!!!
I met up with my friends from KISD. I miss them. Tina and I had our kids at Parents' Night Out event. This was one was less of a success. The first time we did it, they had a Nerf War and that was a big hit. This was a movie night and they were pretty bored.Maggie and I made pasta from scratch for our February date. It was so much fun! She told me loved doing it. We had so much fun and the food was so good.
That's Maggie's plate and she ate every bite.
Oh! Ruby went to my friend Tina's house while we were doing the cooking class. Maggie hadn't driven on the highway yet so I drove too and from the event and she drove to and from Tina's house. I had been encouraging her to practice going up our ridiculous driveway and park in the garage but she hadn't felt ready. But she did it this night and did it perfectly!
This is her first time on the highway. We didn't go far, just from Green Oaks to Matlock, but she got to do it several times because we were pet sitting Grandpa's cats so I had her drive on the highway every time.
Ruby's class in the STEM lab.
Look at my beautiful Honey Bear laying out in the sun!!!
Ruby decided she wanted to do a spa night. We painted each other's nails shockingly bright colors (wasn't expecting that).
This was the third time Maggie parked in the garage. She told me, I pushed the wrong pedal. Sad trombone sound. It wasn't so bad but it might have upset me more than I thought. That night I woke up in my laundry room which is on the other side of this wall. I think maybe I had a dream about this and was checking on something. Not sure.
