Her second Halloween. I have a picture of me as a baby in a pumpkin costume so I put both my girls as one-year-olds in pumpkins. When Ruby was a pumpkin, Jillian was too. 

Updates and old pictures

Ruby wanted to spend her allowance on Orbeez. They are these tiny little balls that you put in water and they become these soft, squishy, water beads. We went on Amazon and the SMALLEST package they had was 100,000 orbeez for $7. The thing showed up and the dogs ripped the package but she still ended up with an insane amount of them. 

So, Ruby asked me if she could try to sell them. I thought that sounded ridiculous so I said sure, why not? She earned $8!!! I told her she can't do that anymore. No knocking on doors and selling anything!

Maggie and I had a date for a murder mystery dinner. Basically, you eat while a murder mystery is happening around you. They involve the audience and it sounded like a fun date. The day of, I was looking at our tickets and I noticed it said it was being held at Billy Bob's, which is a bar in downtown Fort Worth. I went to Billy Bob's website and it was actually help in an event venue across the street from the bar but the times for the show were different and it said no one under 18 was allowed. I had to fight with the ticket people but they finally cancelled and refunded our tickets. 

Maggie was driving and I was lecturing (I know!) about careful driving. I made a comment about people not paying attention and then went into how dangerous driving drunk is because you are already doing something dangerous and then handicapping yourself. I finished it up by saying, please don't ever drive drunk. And Maggie said, I don't plan on ever drinking. I said, oh great, don't ever drive high either. Then, from the back seat, Ruby said, well you have to if you're on a big hill.

 Ruby lost another tooth. She actually pulled it out. She was very excited. Unfortunately, the Tooth Fairy (what a bum!) dropped the ball the first night. Luckily, she got her sh!t together after that.

Ruby has had a HARD week. I'm not really sure why. She had to leave her tumbling class twice to come talk to me because she wasn't listening. Lots of crying. She doesn't seem to be sick or anything. Either way, hopefully it'll stop, because it's a lot.
