Maggie asked to borrow my hoodie (I can't remember why) and she told me it was small. Side note: it fits me comfortably and she is WAY smaller than me, so what she really meant was it wasn't 8 sizes too big for her. But she decided to wear it anyway because it smelled like me. So sweet!
For the past couple of years, I have felt guilty because I had stopped doing birthday videos. Every year (starting when Maggie was 4), I would ask a few questions and it was so cute. I couldn't remember why I'd stopped but I assumed it was just forgetting or being lazy. Then I was going through old videos and photos and I watched the last two years of birthday videos and. . . mystery solved! They wouldn't answer. Both years, both kids basically answered I don't know to every single question.
Ruby threw up all over the floor this week so she had to miss another day of school. Luckily, it was just one day.
Ruby was doing her reading when she suddenly stopped and said, guess what happened at school today? Lucky for her, I'm a sucker for 3rd grade drama. She told me, Kyndle was framed. She goes into this long story about there being writing in Ren's red folder and Kyndle was accused but swore she was being framed and Ruby wasn't sure so she had to check the writing and felt pretty sure the handwriting was too neat to be Kyndle's and guess who has neater handwriting than Kyndle: Trey! J'accuse!
Ruby is so deadly serious when she tells these stories. It's so cute and I spend the whole story with a huge smile on my face which I'm sure she doesn't find annoying.
