Disney cruise

On the last excursion, me, Laurie, Grayson, and the littles went to a private beach and it was awesome. First, we dropped off the littles at a kids' club water park thing and we went to the adults-only beach. It was perfect. Not too hot or cold, very sunny. Not at all crowded. Perfect.

Then we picked up the littles and went to the family beach. They just played in the water, hurling themselves into waves until it was time to go back to the boat.

I took the girls to a dance party one night. The littles just ran around the room doing. . . something, but definitely not dancing. Me and Ella danced. I think Maggie either wasn't there or didn't participate. I think this was also the night Grayson and Laurie did a fancy adults only dinner. Unfortunately, that was the WORST night of sea sickness and I had to leave dinner early. The big girls got the littles back safely.

I took the girls to see a boy band one of the nights. It was fun. We all went to see Beauty and the Beast and it was amazing. I had so much fun in that one. Laurie and Grayson took the kids to see a show another night and they were not so impressed.

Disney cruise

We went on a cruise. First, we flew to Ft. Lauderdale and stayed one night at a hotel to board the ship in the morning. We got dinner at the hotel, which was exorbitantly expensive. I realized when we got there I had only packed one pair of jeans, one pair of shorts, and one paid of leggings. Oops! I decided I'd make it work rather than figuring out a way to buy more pants there.

The cruise was awesome except I had HORRIBLE sea sickness. Let's see: the first day we boarded the ship. Our room was huge because it was a corner. We had to do an emergency drill. We all hung out, then took the littles to the kid center. I had to go hide in my room because the ship started moving.
Dinner was cool. We rotated through restaurants but had the same servers every time. This is us on the bridge to the private beach.

The second day we were at the Bahamas. We did a snorkel trip but the water was soooo choppy and cold, I only got in once. We saw giant pigs on a beach.

This is at the Tiana restaurant. It was pirate night or something and they gave everyone rags. Jillian looks like Lucille Ball and Ruby looks like a babushka.

Maggie broke her glasses on the ship. We first taped them and then someone found super glue and I guess they are all better because she hasn't mentioned it since we got home.

We didn't leave the boat on the second day because I felt awful. The TV had a million Disney movies and the girls ordered room service and they were fine.

Maggie and Ella spent a lot of time doing. . . whatever.

I was purposely making a silly face but yikes.

Grandpa gave Maggie swords.
