Christmas Eve Day

The girls spent the day of Christmas Eve at Grandpa and Joanne's house. So we could cook and clean at Laurie's house. This first picture is not from then but some Christmas outing with Grandpa.

They got a huge Sofia dollhouse to keep at Grandpa and Joanne's house.

Christmas, continued

Mark took this picture of Maggie at the park. Isn't it a great picture?

Oh, also, these are way out of order. This is our carriage ride. This year was great. Last year we were about frozen. I can't remember our horse's name.
Here's Maggie helping her Dad rake.
Here's Maggie with Santa. We went to Arlington mall this year because they had this crazy Shrek thing. It was pretty cool. We designed a sled and "flew" to the North Pole and went through customs and then saw Santa. It was pretty fun.
This is Maggie and her friend, Casey, making snow.

This is Maggie making my Christmas present. It's a set of 4 canvases with one big tree across them in different colors. I love, love it. Richard said she worked very, very hard on it.

Christmas, so far

Maggie and Ella helped Grandpa and JoAnne decorate their tree and then met up with Aunt Laurie to go to a Christmas Festival.

 Here's the girls watching fireworks.
Maggie decorating the beautiful Christmas tree Memaw gave us.

All dressed up for The Nutcracker.

I told Maggie we could go anywhere she wanted for dinner before the ballet. She picked McDonald's.
Notice the pinky. We had a fancy dinner.

Waiting for the doors open. . .
Waiting for the show to start. . .

I was NOT prepared for the flash.
I loved The Nutcracker. Maggie enjoyed it but was also bored off and on. She was squirmy and talked and talked. I finally got her to whisper but wow, there was a lot of talking.
