Laurie, don't be mad at me! I'm sorry there are all these drunk pictures of her. I was just as bad as her. I love the story these two pictures tell. Booze is fun. . . until it's not fun.

Can I borrow a mirror?

 I love the story behind this picture. Laurie thought she had alcohol poisoning (I think) so we took her to the ER. I know she would want me to clarify that she really just had the flu. Anyway, we're there and all worried and the doctor (or some other medical person) came in and he was cute and young and Laurie was like, can I borrow a mirror, as soon as he left. 

I wrote the date on the back of these pictures and this is September 18 (maybe 1999). I always think it's weird to see a day when that day meant nothing and now it's my baby's birthday.
