Ruby still had a fever when she woke up. Blah. Then Maggie insisted she didn't feel good. Blah.
I gave Ruby ibuprofen and she perked up but I still didn't want to send her to school. I don't think you're supposed to send kids if they are only fever-free because of meds anyway. She played with Jay and we watched movies. I attempted to work but it was pointless.
In the afternoon, Ruby started getting hot again. I decided to hold off giving her more meds until bedtime to try to get her fever to maybe help get rid of whatever was wrong with her. She actually fell asleep.
I put her to bed early but she came back out because she was hungry.
Tuesday
Ruby did not wake up in the night! She did not knock on her door until her light came on!! Miraculous!!!
Let me tell you, my girls did NOT want to go to school today. They kept telling me how sick they are but ha! No! Go to school.
I took Jay on a walk and he's been napping ever since. He may not be ready for walks.
After this everyone got sick. I'm just going to put up all the pictures and maybe a few stories will come to me.
Jay wants to go everywhere I go. If go to the bathroom, he's right there. If I get up, he gets up. He also would like to be included in all car trips. Usually I don't let him (because I can't) but this time, we were just picking up groceries so I let him come.Jay loves Grandpa!!!
Peek-a-boo.
Oh right. We got hair cuts. She straightened Ruby's hair first. It was so strange to see her with stick straight hair. Like Laurie said, she looks just like Jilli.
She was grumpy about having her picture taken.
Oh yes. There was a teen there and Ruby was enamored. First, she showed him her tower she'd built. Then she asked his name and said it was a cool name. Then she just kinda hung around in case he wanted to talk some more. It was so stinkin' cute.
Maggie wanted her hair just more angled. So hers is just shorter in the back.
