Birthdays

Maggie got knee high leg warmers and shorts. I thought she looked super cute.

Ashley, the puppy lab foster, attacked Buddy. She actually did no damage, not even breaking the skin, but it scared the sh!t out of me. He was limp when I got him and she had to go. Next time could have been worse. I took him to the emergency vet and he was completely fine but I couldn't take the risk.

Still fat. . .

That's Grandpa Richie and the girls' little brother, Oliver.
That's Ashley in her new foster home.
Ruby made a flag. Insert shrug emoji. Where does she find this stuff? It's a pole (???) with a towel taped (medical tape) to it. I mean. . .
Cats. . . are the worst. Except for Buddy.
For Maggie's birthday party, she wanted to take her friends to a jump place and then eat Mexican food. It felt like we were at the jump place for approximately 15 hours. Also, Raz is a super sweet kid but Max. . . I could do without.

My baby is 15!!!! Crazy.

I got a camera to figure out my sleep stuff. I've slept walked (is that right? sleep walked?) all my life. But it was getting to be a lot. Then one night, I woke up because Ruby said, mom. I had gotten out of bed, walked to her, and was standing over her grabbing at her because in my dream something was wrapped around her neck. So. . . terrifying. The videos were crazy. I was up all the time. Then Laurie suggested maybe the problem was Melatonin so I stopped taking it and. . . it stopped. I still move (like fidget) a lot but no waking up or getting up. Yay for Laurie!!!

Also, when I sent Laurie and Gwen that picture of my camera, Laurie responded, "Can I swing by and straighten your pictures?"

Ruby walking home from the bus stop.
That looks bad.
More creepy sleep pictures.

Start of the School Year

I saw this in Ruby's desk on Meet the Teacher night. It says, I feel happy when I'm with Sadie. They are so stinking cute.

Also, from Meet the Teacher night. Ruby in her big-girl-second-grade desk.
Ashley and Chiara
Ruby made me new earrings by destroying my old (and only) earrings. So. . . not great. She somehow got the ends of the light/fan dangly things and glued the flower of my earrings to the bottom and the post to the top and painted them (with nail polish) red. She's. . . . a lot.
Ruby did her hair.

This was really beautiful when we were driving.

I love all these girls. Ella on her first day of junior high at a new school.
Maggie's FRESHMAN schedule!!! Because she's a freshman. . . in high school!!!

Maggie texted me, Mom, I had coffee. Uh no. To quote the Beastie Boys, she likes her sugar with coffee and cream.
