Update 4

Big birthday party! No Val. She was busy the only weekend we could do it.

Truly, is there a more 13-year-old-picture ever? I mean. If she were in a show, they'd be like, ok you're laying it on a little thick.

Unrelated! Ruby was quite rude to me and came to apologize. I made her do a four point apology. She doesn't have it memorized so I have to do the prompts for her. The number 3 prompt is "In the future, I will. . . " and Ruby said, oh in the future I didn't say that. Then number 4 is "Will you forgive me?" I said that to her, as a prompt, and she said, oh yes. How big of her.

Update 3

I'm ridiculous about this cat but I just love him so much!

Not sure why I took a picture of two sacks of potatoes. Oh wait, that's my fat girls.

After I read Ruby her book, she gets silly sometimes and calls it, funny times. So, I started teasing her a little and she said, are we having funny times? I said, sure, you know it's funny times on account you're so funny. And she said, yeah mostly.

Update 2-

Ruby wrote more and more as the year when on. She asked how to spell love, but I think misheard me.
There was some thunder, and my fat girls don't like that.
Band went to a baseball game.

This was Kiyah's birthday party.

That's my precious Buddy Bear.

Update 1

I'm going to try to remember what all these pictures are of and also any stories I can come up with. Wish me luck!
This must be when Maggie first chopped all her hair off.
This is probably me and Mags on a date.

Ruby's ready for school.
Kiyah, Jereise, Ruby, and Maggie at the park.
First day of school! Why does Maggie have a suitcase? She didn't like her backpack anymore and decided her best move was to use a suitcase. Guess what's in it? Stuffed animals and a hoodie. The important stuff.

Ruby's teacher, Ms. White, had an app where she could communicate with parents and she sent a ton of pictures all year and I love it!

So, Maggie had to choose between band, orchestra, choir, drama, or something like that. I don't remember what she chose but it wasn't band. I asked Jeff to assist in convincing her to join band. Those kids were never in trouble in school and always at the top of the class. They had a whole friend group just right there. Anyway, it worked.
