Christmas and NYE

We weren't able to go to The Nutcracker this year. :( They only had two shows and we couldn't make either one. I was bummed. Maggie was unconcerned.

We went to visit Santa. It could not have gone better. Ruby had been passed out but of course her eyes popped open as soon as I handed her over. But she didn't have time to get pissed. So I got an open-eyed, non-crying picture. Maggie was thrilled and awed as always. So sweet.

We got crazy sick. We'd feel sick for a couple of days then get better. Then sick again. For weeks. It was so awful. Poor Ruby would just cry. :(

Grandmo came for a Christmas visit.

 We went to Richard's hockey game on New Year's Day. Maggie got very ready.

 We had game night. I was shocked how much fun we had playing a real game. Maggie wanted to change the rules occasionally but we still had fun.
